The Opencell engine (“Billing Engine”) supports subscription and pay-as-you-go models, real-time transaction processing, proration management, complex customer hierarchies, and multi-vendor environments.

Does Opencell support international billing requirements?

Yes, Opencell manages multi-currency billing and collection and multi-tax processing, which makes it possible to adapt billing to different devices and tax rules according to customer locations.

Opencell's “multi-selling” features make it possible to manage a multitude of countries from a single Opencell instance, thus making it possible to pool existing offers across a large number of countries or legal entities.

What deployment options are available?

Opencell is provided in “single-tenant” SaaS mode hosted by OVHcloud, guaranteeing full compliance with the RGPD.

In case of customer imperative, Opencell can also be deployed in “cloud ready” mode on a private or public cloud, thus offering flexibility adapted to the needs of each company.

Is Opencell available as open source?

Yes, Opencell follows an open source model licensed under APGLv3, offering transparency, flexibility, and the absence of proprietary locking.All features are available through REST APIs. The only exception to this rule is access to our business interface (“Opencell Portal”), which is commercially licensed and reserved for our Enterprise Edition customers.
